Q: What's so different about the toys at "Toys That Teach"?
A: As our name suggests, we provide toys that are educational, but we also try to fulfill the variety of play needs of a child. Generally, our toys are specialty, high quality, and come from smaller manufacturers that do not work with the big box stores.
Q: There are so many toy recalls going on right now. Are the toys at "Toys That Teach" safe for children?
A: Because of all the toy recalls going on right now in the mainstream toy industry, we have been asked this question a lot. Though we do not manufacture the toys we sell ourselves, we typically work with smaller toy companies that have a greater emphasis on quality and safety, and we have been given assurance by our toy suppliers that our toys have met the appropriate safety standards. Our toy suppliers have recently sent us hundreds of laboratory tests, showing that the toys have passed and are considered safe for children. Children's safety is very important to us at Toys That Teach, and we try our best to make sure that our products are safe and healthy for children. Recently, our local news channel (News 10) visited our store and did an video & article on Toys That Teach as a toy store "alternative" in the midst of the recall crisis.
Q: I noticed you offer free gift wrapping. What does it look like?
